| Changster DJ Music started 2011 and is a manifestation and microcosm of creativity in music. We are based in Vancouver BC Canada. It was started by Chun Yui of Vancouver as a means to distribute his music. Chun Yui was born in Vancouver BC Canada and is an up and coming musician. He is best known by his stage name Just Jun MC as well as Changster (a nickname coined by a few girlfriends). Chun is a keyboard, electronic, and computer musician who also combines use of samples and turntable deejay methods (scratches, chops, screws, etc). Having accepted a grant to go to music production school, he also took lessons in audio engineering & production, music theory and songwriting, and a short small class on music business and entertainment business at Pacific Audio Visual Institute (PAVI). Being influenced by a passion for hip hop culture, it was a simple step for him to work within the multi-faceted industry of entertainment. Besides being a musician, he is also a producer, composer, and a freelance deejay, and also manages a group of breakdancers for shows. As a young adult and late teenager, he worked odd jobs, while maintaining focus on his dreams. He has gone the independent route and has released many songs for free download throughout the years, and garnered top positions on Soundclick, Myspace, Myspace Canada for his songs. 2012 is the planned year for official release of his singles and albums, which will be sold through Itunes and retail stores, and on radio, TV, and youtube. |
